The most wonderful day of the year is here at last. Stockings are hung, homes are alive with laughter and presents are wrapped (hopefully) sitting beneath the tree. Whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, it is one most likely based around unity, kindness and selflessness. To some however, it has become a time of consumption, where your love for others is measured in gifts and money spent. All this gift buying can feel so necessary, but when you sit back and think, one realizes presents aren't important. It's not about finding the perfect gift in a store but rather finding the perfect way to say thank you to the ones you love. The best thing about the holidays is showing your appreciation and gratitude towards the people in your life and making each other feel loved!
