Sit back, relax and take in the wealth of knowledge in front of you. A lucky group of individuals got to do that during a free TEDx event here at The Narrative. It was an all day event full of interesting topics and talks streamed live from the TED stage in Vancouver. TED is a nonprofit that began in 1984 as a place where technology, entertainment and design converged. They are devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks that today cover almost all topics , from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world, like TEDx Santa Barbara.
