In life, we learn to expect the unexpected. This weekend, bride and groom, Chantel and Robert held their beautiful wedding at The Narrative, and they sure were ready for the unexpected. After months of planning every detail of the day, shortly before go-time, Robert's Best Man learned of new military obligations and he had to get back to Kansas City. Upon the news, Chantel and Robert immediately changed their plans to ensure his part in the ceremony. No matter how perfect the details were before, they would mean nothing if they couldn't be shared with a forever friend- for friends and family, we will do anything.
No plan held more importance than having their loved ones by their side at the altar! Instead of the anticipated, the wedding party met in our creative space just after the the sun even rose for a beautiful wedding ceremony, with the best man in attendance! Everyone rallied for the early morning with open arms and love, our earliest wedding to date was an exquisite one!
Our event space transformed into a romantic, sweet escape with hearts and roses galore. The flower arrangements from Tangled Lotus brought a natural elegance to the scene, and the beautiful arrangements adorned the bridal party during the ceremony. White drapery and string lights, courtesy of Bella Vista Designs, were the perfect complements of the natural details to top off the enchanted ambiance. The ceremony was emotional and touching- an intimate gathering with friends and family surrounding the couple as they took the journey to become one! After the kiss that changed everything, photographer Michael Stephens, took advantage of the morning light and whisked the couple off for photos out in scenic Santa Barbara to remember the day forever!
What's the best part of every morning? Breakfast! The bride and groom took full advantage of the early affair and blessed guests with some gourmet brekky. Pure Joy Catering made all the goods, including a make-your-own omelette bar as well as a meat carving station! This couple was sweet as pie, so only fitting that they ended the afternoon with apple and cherry pie desserts. The event and all its excitement would not have been possible without wedding coordinator Shawna of Dulce Dia Events ensuring everything sailed smoothly!
We were so touched by the love and support that we saw in this group, Chantel and Robert you are so lucky to have these gems by your side! Congratulations on a wonderful wedding and a lifetime of love!
