Thanksgiving has come and gone, which means its now Christmas galore. We may not have snow to make our winters white here in Santa Barbara, but we definitely make up for it with our spirit. At the start of December shops are always adorned with holiday decor and plenty of fake snow. Twinkling lights make State Street aglow with cheer. People start to yearn for the smell of pine in their living rooms, while local tree lots start to bustle. It's hard to deny the warmth a town radiates during December. It's not the sun or the hot sand beneath our feet keeping us warm this time of year, its each other. That may sound cliche but it's true. Also who doesn't love a great holiday party? Tacky sweaters, cheesy Christmas music and unlimited refills of champagne. Happy December everyone!
