The first stop on this love parade was El Capitan Beach for a striking fall sunset ceremony complete with beautiful ukulele accompaniment by Chris Wooley. As another gorgeous Santa Barbara sun set beyond the horizon, the bunch made their way to our space, The Narrative Loft.
Everyone was dressed to impress for AppFolio's kick-off party that launched a week of fun events for the group. The dreamy decor was not far behind in style points as Bella Vista Designs transformed the space with string lights, silk drapery and white paper lanterns, a match made in heaven with our timber beams and floors. The cool vibe transcended to every inch of the loft, especially the lounge area which Town and Country decked with a classy couch set. Omni Catering warmed guests souls with their signature grilled-cheese sandwiches before bringing out the food coma sealer, a build your own ice cream sandwich station! When we create we embark on true self-exploration! Santa Barbara artist, costume designer, and creativity coach Kirsten Gold is all about reaching these new facets of yourself through creativity. Her pop-up art gallery called Thresholds: A Woman Birthing Herself was an interactive and engaging event. Her work features gorgeously crafted collages and mixed media creations, pieces and parts of art that have been recycled into new artwork at the helm of her loving hands.
