Remember Tammy and Chris' wedding? How could you not! The now Mr. and Mrs. Lechner tied the knot at the beautiful Santa Barbara Courthouse on March 11, 2017, only to continue the fun and frivolity at The Narrative Loft post-ceremony.
Tying the knot in a place that's close to home and close to the heart escalates a ceremony to another plane of romance. Newlyweds Megan and Adrian did just that by saying I do right down the road from their lovely abode, at Cold Springs Tavern, a place the couple has frequented over the years.
The first stop on this love parade was El Capitan Beach for a striking fall sunset ceremony complete with beautiful ukulele accompaniment by Chris Wooley. As another gorgeous Santa Barbara sun set beyond the horizon, the bunch made their way to our space, The Narrative Loft.
After tying the knot at the Presidio Chapel in downtown Santa Barbara these love bugs scurried to The Narrative Loft to start celebrating.
Watching the sunrise on a rooftop in Santa Barbara. Breakfast at Breakfast Culture Club, the hottest new joint in town. A party at a supercool loft space with your closest friends and family by your side and you have a recipe for one of the best days ever.
From the milk and cookie station, to the heavenly blooms scattered about, everything little thing about Sara and Anthony's celebration has us head over heels. Day of coordinators Jennifer and Natasha from Swoon California wowed with their attention to detail. After the bride and groom said their vows looking out over the Santa Barbara Harbor at Santa Barbara City College the whole party jumped on Santa Barbara Trolley Company 's trolley and made their way to The Narrative. They boogied the night away to beats from DJ Darla Bea, sipped on hand-crafted delights from The Good Lion and no Santa Barbara party is complete without.
On a sunny August day Ricky and Kimberly brought even more of their own sunshine to this celebration. From the plethora of sunflowers to their constantly smiling faces, the atmosphere of the loft was happy and bright. This darling couple called each other sweeties for thirteen years before tying the knot. To acknowledge this special number there were thirteen tables, and table cards were of movies they have seen every year together since they've been a couple. Too cute!
Welcome to this beautiful family reunion to celebrate and honor the love of Glen and Marissa. Family and friends pitched in for the entire set-up to make this dream a reality. A glamourous backdrop for the bride and groom was rented from Red Carpet Photo Shoot. Vony's Party Rentals provided tables and chairs while Jolly Jumps brought the fun with their bouncy house. Kids and adults alike were entertained and bounced off their food comas (otherwise known as Polynesian paralysis). Most of the food including a traditional Lechon or slow-roasted pig, Filipino style was prepared by family members while Chinese food was catered by Mandarin Palace.
Sending this lovely couple all the happiness in the world! Witnessing their love was truly special, and seeing them so enamored with each other after nine years together was beautiful. If you have a weakness for all things Japanese, this celebration might make your heart skip a beat. Sweet touches like anime place cards, origami cranes and toasts were made with sake of course!
The bride and groom pulled together to create the center-pieces and a photo booth. But here is the pinnacle of a DIY wedding, Doreen made her own dress. Yes, you heard that right. That gorgeous dress you see was stitched by the bride herself. As if the months leading up to a wedding isn't stressful enough, props girl!
Can you believe we are almost a third of the way through 2016? Neither can we. Over the last three and a half months we have had the most fantastic events here to date! It is an absolute blast seeing the variety of events taking place here and we have crafted our space with that exact idea in mind.
