The first day of the month means pretty much everything is going to be pumpkin-spice, and, for some reason, Monster Mash is always stuck in your head. Even though the bad Halloween puns are everywhere, they’re a small price to pay for the free candy. I guess you can’t skele-run from the bad skele-puns.

Whether you’ve been trying to get your friends to go on that 10 mile hike with you, or if Sunday brunch (*cough* mimosas *cough*) is more your pace, Santa Barbara has long been known as the perfect place to get away when you’re in desperate need of some rest and relaxation. But now, the fun doesn’t need to stop after the sun goes down. We have some new friends in town that will help keep the party going long into the night, and even into the early hours of the morning.

High School Sweethearts Celebrate with a Beautiful Rehearsal Dinner
This occasion perfectly highlighted the love of two high school sweethearts. Their love burns bright as ever, growing stronger each and every day. Tyler and Jessica's celebration was a true family affair. A big shoutout to the groom's mother Jaimie, for organizing the entire night and making the loft dreamy with her decorations. The space was full of darling details like personalized mason jars for each person, loads of framed photos, pretty signage and little potted plants. In an ode to their family's roots, the celebration had rustic touches and plenty of Southern charm.

'Tis the season for celebration. No, not the kind where we all stuff our faces and cover every inch of our homes with tacky displays of holiday cheer. 'Tis the season for commending our young people's hard work. The time of year we celebrate our grads! UCSB sorority Lambda Sigma Gamma recognized their accomplishments with an awards dinner, welcomed their new members and honored their graduating members moving on to the next chapter of their lives.
2016 Events Spring Recap
Can you believe we are almost a third of the way through 2016? Neither can we. Over the last three and a half months we have had the most fantastic events here to date! It is an absolute blast seeing the variety of events taking place here and we have crafted our space with that exact idea in mind. Our space is a blank canvas that people can come create their own unique story in. Check out a few of 2016's one-of-a-kind events!

When two people tie-the-knot they make a vow to take on life's adventures side by side. For this lovely reception the bride and groom utilized our surround sound Sonos system with a hand-picked playlist for the big day! During dinner music by John Williams, composer of the scores from Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones and many more played in the background. Tamara's Catering kept stomachs happy with a build your own burrito station.
Katina's Birthday Bash!
Katina celebrated her 60th b-day with a bash for the ages! Music by Bonnie & Co. kept everyone jumping and jiving, while Pure Joy Catering provided tons of goodies like mini grilled cheese, tomato soup and
Procore Extravaganza!
Procore celebrated their sales kickoff with a cocktail party that went late into the night. Santa Barbara's own Beta Play rocked the loft with some original tunes and covers from bands like Talking Heads and Uptown Funk. Elite Disk Jockeys also kept the group grooving with their selection of songs. Luners Production Services setup the stage lighting and audio turning the loft into an awesome concert venue.
Wintery Underwood Wedding
There is something so enchanting and romantic about a winter wedding. Having it right before Christmas when the entire world seems a glow makes it even more charming. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays it's hard to imagine the stress of planning a wedding this time of year, but this couple and their family pulled it off beautifully! Props and congratulations to this lovely duo!

The bonds between fraternity brothers and sorority sisters are as tight as family. UCSB's co-ed fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, an Alpha Mu chapter held an awards dinner here to celebrate their members and their achievements!
Alpha Chi Omega's 50th Reunion Party
A sorority is the kind of student group that brings women together for reasons beyond school and parties. It's an organization that fosters friendship and encourages bonds that last a lifetime. Alpha Chi Omega, one of the sororities at UCSB, confirmed these lifelong bonds at its 50th reunion party at the Narrative Loft.
