A couple weeks ago, Eric and a few members of the Foundation Training team worked with guest star Elijah Sacra for a video highlighting a few exercises designed for pain relief. Elijah Sacra is a US Marine Corps Veteran that has continued to serve our country through Warrior Wellness Solutions, a nonprofit organization based in North Carolina.
We welcomed the inspiring mother-daughter duo of Lauren Bragg and Pamela Abbott-Mouchou to The Narrative Loft for their Goal Setting & Feng Shui workshop! The two came together for the workshop, uniting their methodologies, (forming the ultimate butt-kicking team, if I do say so myself) as they offered the group some insight on how they could live their best life.
The first day of the month means pretty much everything is going to be pumpkin-spice, and, for some reason, Monster Mash is always stuck in your head. Even though the bad Halloween puns are everywhere, they’re a small price to pay for the free candy. I guess you can’t skele-run from the bad skele-puns.
Back in August, the lovely people from Mayesh Wholesale Florists held one of their “Curate & Create” workshops at The Narrative Loft as a part of their U.S. flower workshop tour. The five-date tour featured the amazing Kaylee Young of Flourish by Kay, a floral design business based in Portland, Oregon.

But now, the fun doesn’t need to stop after the sun goes down. We have some new friends in town that will help keep the party going long into the night, and even into the early hours of the morning.

Last night, up and coming artist, Conor Scheinberg, showcased his creative talent at The Narrative. Conor planned every detail of the event as his senior project for Laguna Blanca School. As an artist, Conor considers himself an abstract expressionist and looks to everything around him for inspiration.
As one of the biggest buildings in Santa Barbra, all of our spaces total at over 23,000 square feet. What originally started out as a "lemon-packing" plant has now turned into the homes of some of the area's best businesses. This past weekend our friends of Santa Barbara Middle School hosted their annual school dance at The Narrative. Students from grades 6th through 9th came for a night of dancing and fun to enjoy in our event space.
After a few years exploring other opportunities, we are excited to welcome back Rachel to The Narrative family! She is back and better than ever, handling all of our event operations. When she describes herself in three words, she is LOUD, funny, and compassionate, and we are so happy to have her energy once again in our creative space.
Colette and Palmer transformed our creative space into a wedding wonderland. Natural hues with bright floral accents decorated our event space from wall-to-wall. Each detail was very personal to the couple, with polaroid photo lines of their adventures all around our event space, as well as their initials adorning the décor.
